British featherweight Lee Selby has withdrawn from the position as official challenger for EBU champion Alex Miskirtchian. There was to have been purse bids for this fight on Wednesday in Rome. Miskirtchian, based in Belgium but of Armenian descent, will now have to face the highest ranked contender in the EBU ratings as his official challenger.
