i think one of the few people that picked Soliman was a guy from his home-country, Australia.

dont underestamate him, he is actaully a good fighter, i got to meet and hang out with him when he fought in lemoore. He is very motivated since hopkins decided not to defend agaisnt him and fight taylor. If given the opportunity, this guy will fight, and he will fight hard. I dont know if he will win, but he does have a legitamte shot. Just remember no one gave rahim a shot at morales. oppps how did that fight go again.

True but morales was in the wrong weight class Winky is right where he should be.

Solimon does have a tricky style for anyone to solve and he will come in great shape like always but it won't be enough for Winky's solid defense and power jab. He might win a round or 2 but no more then 3.

                Soliman has a chance.

Winky has been world-class against guys who have little to no lateral movement (Mosley and Tito). I'm not sure how he's going to react against a guy who goes in and out with good quickness. He's fighting a guy that pivots and side-steps more then any of Winky's previous opponents.

It's an interesting fight when you slice it up because Winky is going to have to show his counter-punching ability.

I agree with ya. Part of what makes Winky's defense look so good is for the past couple years, he's been fighting a lot of fighters who move straight in. Guys who have good lateral movement and use angles well tend to open up people's defenses a bit. Whether or not this actually happens, we'll all have to wait and see.

Personally, I say Winky wins 117-111 in an extremely boring fight.
