I hate pac like allot of die hard boxing fans, but he is NOT a fake ...this guy is like ned flanders...thats just how he is...I cant live a lie and go along with the "fake persona" crap the guy is a good person, and its not right to pretend he isnt, when all he does is say, and do positive things..Floyd is an azz, and as a fan, I accept him for who he is, Its EASIER to accept Pac for who he is, and I will do so!

Manny plays the role of a humble good christian who can do no wrong, WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS BS, and he gains fans because he appears to be a role model who had to fight through the hardships of life and came on top. A real Rocky story which everyone can relate to. This leads him to more fans. More fans = more money.. It's what nearly every celebrity has always done.

Does a humble guy need this house?

Does a humble christian need this car?
Nope but a rich man would WANT that house and car, simply because they have the money to afford the finer things in life!

Nobody is saying he is a bad person, but he is fake... You see the diffrence between him and Floyd, Floyd is the bad guy so w.e. Pacquiao is the God WORRIOR who has kids with strippers and does *******. That is why he is a fake. I accept him for who he is, which is a fake... DOES NOT MEAN he is a bad person, he is just a fake person..

Is manny a rich man first or a humble Christian first? Isn't Manny the guy who fights for pride and not money, but all of a sudden 40 million isn't good enough for the fighting pride of the Philippines? There is too much hypocrisy when it comes to Manny which shows that he is a FAKE.

As far as fabricated personas are concerned, yes. In this case, not so much.

Being perceived as an overly-religious nut is never good for any professional athlete's career...look at the trajectory. Considering how much media attention the "bad blood" between the Pacquiao & Mayweather camp has received the last few years (arguably one of the single biggest contemporary stories in sports)...if u were Pacquiao's PR manager...would u really encourage him to placate that feud?

Picturing Pacman and Mayweather conversing peacefully in a cell wouldn't do much to push a potential megafight, marketing wise would it?

Just look at the reaction (even from hardcore Manny fans) to the recent HBO 24-7 series and their portrayal of Manny's new perceived persona....

I feel the same way. Not that I hate Pacquaio. In fact I used to be a huge fan of Pacman. Even went to his 3rd fight against Morales cheering for him. His crazed fans is the reason I stopped cheering for him and started rooting against him. But I have nothing but respect for the guy. He does try hard to be a good person. At the end of the day...we're all human, and make ****** decisions. But can't hate a guy for trying to do good

None Of You Know Pacquiao OR Floyd

Floyd was offered 45/45 split with the WINNER getting the xtra 10%, and Floyd said no. That tells you all you need to know. Floyd isn't sure he can beat Manny, and wants no part of him. This is why Floyd made Cotto and Mosley wait for more than 10 years; they were just to dangerous in their prime for Floyd. Same reason Roy Jones made Hopkins wait for something like 15 years; just to dangerous, and Roy found out BHop still had too much fight left. Floyd has made Manny wait for over three years and still isn't ready, and won't be. So quit fooling yourselves this is a business move. Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, and Arguello would have had such a fight fought by now. Floyd needs to grow a pair.
