[PHOTOS]Nike Unveils Manny Pacquiao's Fight Night Gear

    words // Brandon Richard

In preparation for this Saturday's fight against undefeated Timothy Bradley, WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao has used the new Nike+ Training experience which fuses high-intensity training drills with gaming appeal. For fight night, Nike will outfit Pac Man in a collection of gear made from environmentally-friendly materials for high impact in the ring and low impact on the environment.

The Nike LunarTR1+, Pacquiao's training shoe, can be connected with an interactive mobile application that enhances the overall training experience. This technology utilizes a new Nike+ Pressure Sensor built into each of Pacquiao’s shoes that collects information about his movement and then wirelessly transmits data to his phone. It is then translated into different metrics, delivering previously unknown information about his training session. The Nike LunarTR1+ will be available at retail June 29 in the US, UK, France, Germany and Mainland China.

With fabric made of 100% recycled polyester, using an average of 50 recycled plastic bottles, Pacquiao’s Fight Night Robe features Nike Sphere Technology on the inside of the robe for lightweight warmth and breathability. Philippines colors run through the inside of the robe while eight stars reflect Pac Man’s eight world titles. An additional detail includes the Philippine sun rising over his name.

Pacquiao’s Fight Night Trunks feature technical fabrication at a light weight. Also with fabric made of 100% recycled polyester, and using an average of 9 recycled plastic bottles, these trunks adhere to Nike’s commitment to serving the needs of both the athlete and planet. At 18% lighter than Manny's previous trunks, and just over 6 ounces total, the shorts are designed to limit in-ring distractions.

Built to withstand the rigors of fight night and to Manny's exact specifications, the HyperKO MP Boot features Flywire technology and a lockdown strap. The boot is built to keep Pacquiao supported with for boxing specific footwear movement, while withstanding the extreme torque and pressure. The supportive Flywire and lockdown strap provide the optimal lockdown fit, while the zonal mesh minimizes weight and maximizes moisture management.

Take a full look at Manny's Fight Night Collection below. Pacquiao/Bradley will air this Saturday at 9 p.m. EST on HBO Pay-Per-View.

They look exactly like the same boxing shorts Pac has been wearing since forever just without the logos.

Pretty Sweet!!! I love the 8 stars on the coller. Very nice touch!! It's fantastic. Mad props to the designers. However, this doesn't reflect my feelings on Manny, but his gear is no doubt top notch..
