if that's the case who do you think Manny will go with? sounds like he is pretty close with Ariza so this might be a harder decision than some of you might think....

I think this ultimatum has already been presented by Roach to Pacman, Pacman said he wants to keep both, Much to the chagrin of Roach. That would explain why Roach did a 180 degree change in his policy not to allow Ariza into Pacman's corner against Bradley, Now Roach has allowed Ariza in the corner.

Roach has learnt that he is not as important to Pacman or as close to Pacman as he thinks he is.

At this point of Pac's career he's not gonna let go of his trainer for the sake of a strength and conditioning coach. I'm sure Ariza is great at what he does, but I have a tough time believing Pac would drop Roach and stick w/ Ariza who only focuses on one aspect of training.

This wont be a hard decision at all, if it comes down to Roach or Ariza. I'm a bit ticked off about Freddie having his panties in a bunch in damn near every camp.

I think he's getting a bit edgy because his "father figure" role is in jeopardy when it comes to Manny's relationship with Ariza, which is a brotherly type relationship.

Most of the time, Freddie gets all worked up for the right reasons, but in this case, he should chill.

I dont hear any of his other fighters crying about how Roach pretty much ditches them when it comes to Manny, or they have to fly out to the Philippines to train.

So why should Roach make a huge deal about Ariza breaking camp to work with Julio?

What's worse, Ariza breaking camp to help Julio, or Ariza being there the whole time and Manny "not listening" to him? We've heard both of these scenarios from the camp...

The irony of this whole telenova is that Ariza may be more responsible for Pacquiao's success than Roach.

Never has a strength coach been highlighted as such a factor in the media.

What is Ariza's real significance in Manny's team?

Its very plausible that Ariza ditched Pacquiao's camp for that time to let Manny see what he would be like without Ariza's special contributions.

            It would make sense.

You are absolutely right. No way in hell would Pacquiao choose Ariza over Roach. Roach and Pacquiao are like father and son. Pacquiao likes Ariza as his strength coach so Roach goes along with it even though he thinks Ariza is unprofessional.
