Listen I'm a fan. To me, it's proving you're the best, in the ring, against the best fighters. Bradley had a chance to be the undisputed jr welterweight champion. Lineal champion. Universally recognized champion. When was the last time that happened??

It's fans like you (mostly those that support mega stars,) settle for less & defend fighters & give them passes & accolades when they don't deserve them. I want my money's worth as a fan. Imagine if a football team could pick who they wanted to beat in the superbowl, then charge me 50 bucks a viewing??

Also this is a rare circumstance. Maybe in other divisions I'd feel differently but the dude is fighting Manny Pacquiao. He's fighting the biggest name in the world.
The Manny fight is a huge fight, and I commend him on that. No one can take that away from him, but with the attitude he had at the time, it sent a pretty bad message out.

He did do great to be at the top of 140, and he could have cemented it by being Undisputed by beating another titlist. If he had fought Khan in June/July, he would have had time for one more fight, and then this fight here a year later.

The same attitude of 'what if I lose' is taking place. Guys fighting no bodies til 25 ot 30 and 0. Bad for boxing IMO.

Whether or not Khan would have lost or won, he wanted to face the top guy badly while Bradley was doing 'What if I lose' interviews.

I don't care who you are, if you preferred Cassa and Bradley over Khan VS Bradley then you are what fuels bad fights for boxing.
Please dude....Khan is fighting Garcia and Bradley is fighting Pac. Bradley doesn't owe Khan anything. Did you want to see Khan-McCloskey or Khan-Prescott II?

Khan is not above your gripes either.

I already mentioned that Khan should face Prescott. I alreayd said he ducked Prescott but also said get some wins and it's a fight he will think about.

End of the day, Bradley fought Cassamayor since Alexander. One fight since Jan 2011.

Bradley is fighting Pac which I already commended, that is not the issue, the issue is avoiding Khan. I like how Bradley fans digress and deflect the question and say Pac, business or whatever.

Not necessarily. That $1M+ purse that he received for the Casamayor fight, was some of his $600K signing bonus for TR.

I agree with your whole post but this part stuck out for me. When guys cry about these "fantasy fights" not being made, one would have to question if the're really a hardcore boxing fan.

For years, us hardcore fans have seen one-sided and sub par fights being made. If you're a true fan (unlike the author of this thread), then you would know that business trumps what the fans want to see.

With that said, we know that boxing is an ugly business, so we've learned over the years to accept it, or move on. I sided with Tim on his decision to join TR, though I had my reservations. He got what he wanted, and now he's a step ahead of Khan. He can go back to Khan if he wants to....

Soooo...Bradley "ducked" a not-so-dangerous fight, in order to get a deadly Pacquiao fight, for more money? I dont get it, help me out here...

The only Blatant duck in my mind was Bowe ducking Lewis and for good reason.

When someone says this fighter ducked his fighter or that one. Its their opinion, not a fact.

1.) Bradley did not want to stay with Shaw
2.) Arum offer was on the table, he blows it off to roll with Shaw to fight Khan, Arum could of pulled the offer.
3.) Don't say a young prime fighter would risk his career against Pac but duck Khan.

As for the Marg - Floyd. While Floyd was with Arum he wanted Cotto, Hatton or Oscar.
He already had agreed to fight Judah while under Arum, but it became clear Arum wasn't going to give him bigger fights than Marg.
So Floyd leaves Arum, sues him.
Precedes to fight the lineal Welter champ, who beat Judah and hadn't lost in 8 years. ( who deserved to fight Floyd just as much as Marg) for the same amount of money. Then boom Oscar shot

25 Milli in the bank and Superstar Status.

You call it a duck because of ignorance.

It was a business move. In this case to fight bigger and better names for more money.

                  What fight do/did you want?

                  Khan VS Bradley

                  Bradley VS Cassamayor?

What's funny is they ***** about fights not getting made over money and at the same time ***** about a fight like Dawson - Ward because its boring. Stop *****ing and just watch

Its OK for Pac to fight for money and not the best available at the time. Isn't that business too
