Could Ike Quartey ever beat Felix Trinidad???

If this fight happened during their primes would quartey have a shot? He's got a powerful jab and that's what you need vs tito.

Personally I don't think Ike makes the 12 rounds and gets KO'd later on in the fight..but damn I wish this happened at 147..

I think he would have had a great chance,considering he came very close to beating oscar,he kept oscar at bay most of the fight with that powerful jab.I say Ike by UD.Yes oscar had Ike really hurt at one point in the fight,but Ike surived it,and besides oscar has that great boxing ability Trinidad lacked.

I think the fact that he was really strong at that weight would have compensated for any shortcomings tho.

Hmmm....to bad this fight never happened, would have been interesting. I think he would be too willing to trade with trinidad and that would prolly cost him the fight. He had a very nice jab which some argued was better that DLH's. I still think Trini would win by KO.

hmmm... i only watched ike quartey twice and those were his last two fights so i can't say if he can or cannot beat tito... but he showed that stiff jab everybody said he has in the last fight and it was good alright... have to watch more of his fights... any links?
