WBO refuses to sanction Golovkin-Pirog

Looks like Dmitry Pirog will need to drop his WBO title in order to fight Gennady Golovkin.

The WBO is inconsistent. They allow Nathan Cleverly to avoid his mandatory since last year while fighting journeymen, but refuse to allow Pirog to unify with the WBA titleholder Golovkin in a fight many people would like to see.

I'm just about sick of the WBO telling Pirog he can't fight other beltholders and keep their belt. He should just go ahead and throw it in the trash while he gives them the middle finger.
