If This Were A Championship Boxing Heavyweight Title Fight...

... It would garner Fight Of The Year honors.

Those not into MMA can appreciate the boxing skills of these two, as the hits were enough to create quakes in some parts of the land as both fighters unleash bombs in a head hunting battle of the ages.

This match between two tough as nails New Zealanders, Ray Sefo vs Mark Hunt, took place October 8, 2001 at the K-1 ***uoka Grand Prix in Japan.

Ray served as David Tua's sparring partner. Both have impressive pro boxing and kick boxing backgrounds.

The "try to knock me out" invitation round is a classic must see.

    Enjoy ...

Ray and Mark were monster punchers in their primes. Not as huge fan of either man but I always appreciated their efforts in the ring.

Without a doubt. I believe that is the type of excitement missing from heavyweight boxing matches these days. The lower weights could use some of it too.
