  • Poll- Is Bradley decision a good bet?

First off i just want it to known that i am not a big fan of the way Bradley fights, but in this pacticular fight I give him a good chance,
    I personally am going to bet 300 - 500 dollars on Bradley decision @ 7/1 = $2100-$3500........ Good Bet????

Itll be a close fight and I give Bradley a very slight edge
The reason I favour him, is not because I think he is a superior fighter or boxer than Pac - it because I feel Pac has peaked.
-He has looked like **** in his past 2 or 3 fights
-I do not feel this new "spiritual awakening" will stand to him in the ring mentally(I could be wrong) but I feel Pac now - does not have the same hunger and aggression that he once had.
Also the man has so much going on in his life with politics, films, training camp dispute and problems, religion etc.
I think now is the time it all catches up with him.
And Bradley just happens to be the fighter at the right time to capitalise on the end of the great Pacquaio.

Im interested on hearing your opinions on how the fight plays out, and if any1 else is betting real money on the fight

The thing is with this bet, Bradley has to win about 8 rounds very convincingly to get the decision to be honest, if there's close rounds that Bradley edges its probably gonna go to pacquaio. That being said I don't expect Bradley win enough rounds for this to even be up for debate, I expect this to be a UD or late knockout for Manny, Yes he's looked fairly poor lately but Shane Mosley went super defensive first him, and combined with the fact that Mosley has a very good chin pac man was never gonna look brilliant here, and we also know that Marquez is a nightmare for pac man and always has been not just in their last fight, so its hard to say whether its been pacquaio getting worse or just his opposition making it very tough for him.

All this being said Bradley by decision is obviously a lot more likely than Bradley by K.O so the bets decent, like I said you've just got the problem that Bradley really has to win convincingly to have any chance and even then we could see a Rios-Abril robbery, like I said if Bradley wins around 8 rounds very convincingly (im talkin something like 25 punches to 15) then he has a chance, but even then tbh I could see them giving it as a split decision to pacquaio tbh, and lets not get sidetracked I expect pac to win this fight fairly convincingly anyway.

Arum will have the judges in the pocket , only way Tim can get a decision it would have to be a total white wash that is so dominate that they just cant give it against him ,,, not going to happen !

I voted yes it is an ok bet at 7 to1 odds. I expect Pacquiao to win but Bradley could win and if he does it would be be by decision. I give him 1 chance in 4 which is better than 1 chance in 7. I think the scoring will be fair. If Bradley wins even by a tiny amount then he will get the decision. If he doesn't win then he won't get the decision. Simple as that. The Pac haters are getting their excuses ready in advance and will cry robbery unless Pac near kills him. Then they will cry fix. I hope Pac KOs him. Go ahead and bet.

If you've got money to throw away, sure.

Tim doesn't hit hard enough to hurt Pacman (12 knockouts in almost 30 fights) and Pac has a larger punch output. Those two facts mean both that it's improbable that Tim can score a Ko or that he can get a decision (even by objective judges). Manny is also faster.

that's a lot of money to make on a small bet on an undefeated fighter, but i wouldnt make it

bradley is not winning on the scorecards. i'd say the chance of that is far less than the odds you are getting

if they've got a chance to take it away from bradley you bet your ass they will
judges know exactly who pays them. promotors. you want another big fight with top rank? you better play ball.

that means all close rounds go to pacquiao.

is bradley going to whip manny's ass to the degree that they simply cannot rob him? bradley is no puncher. if he gets the best of manny it's not likely to be with huge and eye catching punches and tons of damage.

you dont care about the fans reaction to the fight, which will be called like it's seen. you care about the judges and getting the W, right?

i dont think it's a great fight to bet, even if there is a lot of money to be made by betting a larger, undefeated, and prime fighter

I think so. To me, this fight was dangerous from the beginning. I'm surprised bob even made the fight. This is far outside the norm of a Pacman fight lately. I think bob is cashing in on Pacman. Saturday is the perfect time to route for the other fighter. Especially a fighter as good as Bradley.
