Dominic Ingle, the trainer of top rated welterweight Kell Brook (27-0, 18KOs), says his boxer will overcome the punching power of Carson Jones (34-8-2, 24KOs) on July 7th at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield. Ingle recognizes the big punching power of Jones, after watching tapes, but doesn't expect a problem because he feels Brook's defense will make Jones miss.

Haven't seen anything of Carson Jones yet - think I'll youtube him but he seems full of confidence.

Brook although never been in with anyone remotely a threat yet looks to be very talented with good power, so this could be a real classic.

Brook has yet to really have his chin tested as he hasn't fought anybody strong enough to test it yet, so if this fella Jones can punch then we'll find out on the night for sure.

The same thing will go the other way though coz Brook has power and skill.

If Brook wins this, and sadly he might not, does he expect waves of praise? If he is what he's been made out to be, he's supposed to dominate Jones.
