You are simply wrong Froch, averaged 69 punches per round in all of his super 6 bouts excluding the Ward fight where his average punch output dropped to around the mid 50s again that is a solid work rate. You really have no grounds to say Froch doesn't posses good stamina he has never looked gassed and has always thrown big shots up until the final bell.
I'm saying he doesn't posses stamina consistent with non-stop throwing without a break, like Calzaghe, Pacquiao etc and like he did on against Bute.
He always takes breaks, he takes rounds off where he throws less and his stamina goes down and he takes breaks in rounds between bursts of shots.
Look at the Kessler fight to see his dips up and down in work rate, same as Johnson.
Its not just about how many you throw - but how fast and hard and constant one after the other. How do you quantify that? e.g. There is a difference between throwing 70 shots a round with a lot of flicking jabs in there with breaks and throwing a a lot hard, flat out shots.
I have eyes, so do you, if you disagree, fine, I'm not saying he's on anything, just that imo I've not seen him fight like that and it raised eyebrows with the people watching with me.
You made your point, if you see nothing to argue then why are you bothering, the more you argue the more there looks like there's something to argue about.
If you disagree, fine. I've made mine and am not looking to go over and over it.
You saying Glen Johnson outworked Froch is also nonsense Froch averaged 77.2 punches per round, yet restricted Johnson to 52 punches per round (his second lowest output in his 8 copubox tracked fights. Oh and Johnson was 42 not 44 I will not agree to disagree because what you are typing is clearly wrong and needs correcting.
Slightly pedantic with the age there, 42 then. The point I was making was obvious. I said he outworked and matched him early and then in the middle - you are talking about punch average - an average over 12 rounds. Not 7 or 8 which is when Johnson started gassing from memory.
That means he can throw 10 in one round and 40 in another and you take the average over 12, that isn't constant, hard throwing shot energy, hard energy.
You are acting like Froch was throwing way above his average punch output for a 12 round fight he wasn't.
And again about the hand wrap stuff if a fighter posts a competent and experienced member of his team in his opponents locker room to observe the hand wrapping as they are entitled to and always should that is enough to stop loaded wraps. Also you need to learn how to quote.
It's a forum not a dissertation - no need to get personal. Your punctuation leaves a lot to be desired, as does mine, however, its a forum, i don't check my posts after I written them - loosen up.
Sure, lets not take central responsibility for it - lets put it down to the fighter.
Fighters already can do what you suggest and clearly it doesn't work, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
You can't believe how many incompetent trainers and seconds there are and, what about the club fighters that can't afford quality seconds.
It took Naz richardson to spot Margarito, how many seconds missed it before that?
