Trout-Canelo would look much different than Trout-Rodriguez...

It's not real easy to look good against either guy. Plus both are actually good fighters. I don't think Canelo has fought anyone as good as Rodriguez.

Yes that's true. Honestly, I don't know how many of Canelo's past opponents looked impressive before they fought Canelo. Now that this fight is PPV, they might need some excitement. I don't know if they'll be able to get a name to help sell.

probably miguel vasquez, but then again many ppl had him supposedly losing at least one of those fights. thats why i think he'll be fighting bundrage.

thats probably true, but then again, who cares? fight someone with skill already. if hes gonna be a star then hes gonna have to fight these guys sooner or later. i love how ppl around here act like canelo deserves to only fight marketable fighters. he really hasnt earned that yet.

Well I still think Canelo's going to shoot for the undisputed champion title by taking out both Trout and K9 in September and December to hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

That would be a HUGE marketing point for a fight with Floyd in May who has the WBA Super LMW title and the WBC Diamond Belt.
