Why is there no need to feel sorry for him? He wants the belt and has been pushed aside multiple times. He's only taking the step aside deal because he knows he won't get the fight for the belt no matter what happens, even if Khan doesn't get his belts back.

Like Maidana is going to fight him. What reason does he have to fight Ajose?
Ajose is the WBC mandatory not the WBA mandatory. If Maidana can strike a deal with him then fine, but Ajose has already been told he'll fight for the belt multiple times only to have them gift wrap it for other people.
The only reason you're for the WBC screwing over fighters is because it's in favor of Khan

WBC = We Be Corrupt

This is a perfect example of why boxing needs to do away with sanctioning bodies that do nothing more than generate income for organizations like the WBC and WBA. What's being done to Ajose is exactly what's been done the last 18 months to Sergio Martinez.

The entire sport needs federal oversight. Between the bogus state commissions (that can be bought off by the WBC) and the sanctioning bodies, so many fighters get screwed every which way til Sunday.
