Comments Thread For: Canelo's Sept. 15 Options: Lara, Trout and Bundrage

As reported earlier on BoxingScene.com, James Kirkland withdrew from a scheduled fight with WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on September 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Kirkland, who agreed to take the fight on Thursday, was still feeling the effects of a right shoulder injury when he entered the gym for a light workout later that night.

My money is on Bundrage. Easy fight for Cinnamon.

Canelo would then hold the WBC and IBF titles.

Then set up a fight with Mayweather who holds the WBA super light middleweight title.

It should be Lara, but he might beat Canelo, so it probably won't be.

            Lara deserves the fight

Let us Fight Fans voice our opinion and let it be known that due to Kirklands Injury Lara should get the fight.

Lara should have been the no.1 candidate, even before Williams.

It will be K-9 or Quintana lol

                Or the loser between Trout-Rodriguez.

Yeah, what the ****? Golden Boy keeps on acting like he doesn't exist.

I think Bundrage probably makes the most sense because people know him from the contender and has a title. Nobody gives a damn about Trout. Lara actually has had the most hbo/showtime airtime so I could actually see this one selling the most, but he's too dangerous.
