Kirkland should fight Clottey when he comes back. Josh trying to make noise. It would go rounds which Kirk needs.

not too surprised by this news...everything seemed too soon. better to have kirkland rest his shoulder and take a tune-up later this year to see how well his shoulder is, and if everything looks good then canelo vs kirkland early next year. better to have both guys going into the fight 100%..plus it would be a better win for canelo if he were to beat kirkland without this shoulder injury issue.

We should. I've been wondering why no one's been saying this. However, just like Chavez Jr, they're not going to put Canelo in there with anyone that would be a favorite over him with the bookies.

I'm sure they're wondering if anybody at 147 or 160 would heed the call for a name, PPV-worthy challenger. Canelo-Ortiz would probably be sellable...
