Yes Floyd may have earned himself 85mill on two fights, but he also has to share some promotional obligations with his co-promoters, so the 85mill after all the cuts may have also been much lower than what you floydiots expected...

And don't you think if Manny doesn't have Arum to do all that promotional hoopla and chose to promote himself would have been earning the same as Floyd??!!!

Floyd vs Marquez did 1.05m PPV & Floyd vs cotto did 1.5m PPV, as against, Pac vs marquez did 1.41m PPV & Pac vs cotto did 1.25 PPV buys, so in comparison they both GENERATE almost the SAME PPV numbers....

Yes 50/50 because they generate almost the same amount of money regardless of how they split it up with their respected people...
Are these official or just heresay? If they arent then i dont believe any of it. Maybe they both did under 1 mil for all we know.

HBO did release the Cotto/May numbers though and forbes did say May makes serious bank so ill go on that.

What I don't understand is, why do some people care so passionately if its 50/50 or 60/40 etc.

Its not like Floyd going to be putting food on your table and feeding your kids if he gets 50/50 or 60/40 or whatever. End of the day him and Arum are just greedy mofo's and thats the bottom line. Maybe jail might have him thinking differently when he gets out.

            Forget about the Pac fight.

Martinez vs Mayweather has to happen. Make it happen, Floyd.

Its that how you analyzed this situation? LOL@ the irony.

Exactly. Manny has to fight more often to even seem comparable. Floyd fights once a year.

If Manny didn't have Arum, Manny would still be as popular as he was BEFORE his fight with Barrera.

Has Arum released the official numbers? Or are you going off hearsay?

They do not generate the same amount of money. The interest in Pacquiao is not the same as the interest in Mayweather. This is why Arum has refused for so long to release the official numbers. The numbers would put an end to the dreams of legions of Pac fans.

Its clear that you're deliberately dishonest with yourself. You know, like we all know, that Manny's last three fights were duds. Manny's reputation and therefore his star power has taken a huge hit. The world knows that Marquez won the third fight. The world knew that Mosley was done before the Pac fight. And Margarito?? He was actually still banned for wearing loaded wraps! Yet Pacquiao pursued THAT fight for a vacant title.

No one is buying the bull. A guy who is earning $7 million isn't going to jump up to earning $50 million in one fight under any circumstances. Mayweather is making his money.

I wonder if Arum has been telling Pacquiao the same thing he told Mayweather years ago about the DLH fight: "The money just isn't there!"

How else can Arum justify Mayweather making $85 million for 2 fights and Pacquiao making $7 million per fight???????????????

Who are you people going to believe?

I guess that depends on your agenda, huh?

              Hahahahahahahaha

I'm just going with the flow where Floyd fans are taking the Pac fight. If you're not happy with the way things are going, nobody is forcing you guys to pursue it further. Martinez is the better alternative for Floyd's next fight. It's easy to make. I was expecting you guys to agree with that. What am I missing?

We're just circle-jerking. You're not happy with the way things are going in the Pac fight. Here's Martinez waiting... I can't see the point of bringing up the split issues. Don't you agree Martinez is a better alternative for Floyd's next fight?
