As a Pac fan, if it is true, then Mayweather deserve more than 50-50. But the question on that article is where did they get the $85 million figure from? Did Forbes investigate on their own or they just got the figure a boxing article that cited Floyd.

Come on man. STop it. Forbes isn't gonna just cite some article. Just give floyd his due and lets leave it at that.

Yeah, Its probably a lot more than that. If they know he made 80 then he probably made 90.

Big Pop just said that he probably made 60 for the Cotto fight. So he probably made 40 for the Ortiz fight.

If Floyd indeed earned that much money, then he deserve more than 50 split. If you look at the boxing media, one media will start a story then the others will pick it up.

The PPV generated 94 million dollars. HBO takes their cut, expenses,GB, Cotto. If he got 85 million, that would leave 9 million for everyone else to divide, which isn't realistic because Cotto was being paid a guarantee of 8 on his own.

Mayweather gets a high PPV percentage that is split with HBO. Floyd gets a guarantee of $32 million. After all of the money is divided up - maybe got Floyd 50-60 million and even that is up for debate but that's what Floyd has claimed to make for past pay-per-views and they weren't that far off from PPV number of the Cotto show. Mayweather-Mosley drew around 1.4 million buys and generated $78.3 million (lower PPV price) and Floyd himself claims to have made around 50 for that one.
They're counting the Ortiz fight in the number

This is good news for Floyd fans. Floyd doesn't have to fight Pacquiao. You guys should party and celebrate with your idol as soon as he comes out of jail.

Martinez vs Mayweather is looking like it's going to happen. But I would settle for Khan vs Mayweather if the Martinez fight can't be made.

seriously, how would Forbes know how much a man has in his bank account?

Forbes is the U.S. weekly national enquirer of the financial & business sector.

You know they are full of crap when they list the net worth of drug lords like escobar & chapo guzman. Yea, Forbes magazine has access to drug lords online banking.

                Because that's what Forbes does.

lmfaaoo at any gullible sheep that thinks forbes knows how much all these billionaires have in their bank account.

                Keep eating that grass sheeple.

Just shows a lot of suckers out there.

I wonder how they convinced themselves that they didn't get ripped off with the Ortiz fight.

I didnt need Forbes to confirm for me that Floyd is the highest paid boxer in the sport.
this is something everyone shouldve already known. It just has to do with his drawing power and the fact that he is in control of his earnings.
