Hailing from an athletics background Ruben was a 2 time Englsh schools 400m hurdles champion, AAA`s Junior 400m hurdles champion and also a European junior 400m hurdles champion, Ruben is now currently training as a GBR international 400m hurdler aiming to win a spot and a medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
Just an interesting bit of info about Haye and Khan's strength, conditioning coach and nutritionist. This guy is still an active athlete himself and he could be in the Olympics this year. Imagine if the guy came away with a medal.
It's an unusual situation for a current Olympic hopeful to be the strength/conditioning coach to elite boxers. Is that a first?
