Yeah if the fight is confirmed at 168 then I dont see the point. Ward wont be able to put him away either so it will be a weight drained guy vs someone who wrestles and cant ****. Has the making a boring 12 rounder.

lmao.. Chad will be completely ineffective at 168. Ward is going to school him and make him look like Allan Green. But at 175 I think Dawson beats Ward (if he doesnt have an off night like the Pascal fight)

Of course I know, i mentioned it in the Froch vs Dawson thread, but the point is Dawson hasn't fought at 168 for 6 years. He's going to have to not only go down in weight, and likely be weight drained, but also he'll have to fight one of the best fighters (if not the BEST) in the division.

Now if Dawson took a few tune up fights before Ward, and spent more time readjusting to the weight, and looked decent he might actually have a chance at 168. But to fight the elite in his first fight back in 6 years he's going to be a sitting duck.
