Froch is a rather slow guy while Bute is pretty damn fast but for whatever reason Bute made Froch look like Floyd Mayweather. Froch beat him to the punch over and over again and landed almost every power punch and jab. I'm not surprised Froch won but rather how easily he could find the target. Did Bute freeze? I mean a lot of those punches from Carl, Bute could see them coming from a mile away but could still not defend himself.
How could Froch beat Bute to the punch?

Bute froze.
Early in the fight, you can see that Bute had the speed edge and was landing first, but Carl always countered back.
Bute was fighting effectively from the outside, his problem was after he landed a blow, he stayed in distance. Froch would take the hit well and landed better in return.
I have to say that I was one of the ones who thought Bute would sweep this easy. Good on Froch to prove me and many doubters wrong. Froch for all of his perceived weaknesses, is very consistent in his strengths.
Bute is not a consistent fighter, but has proven to not be afraid to face fighters who have hurt him badly (he was fokked up hard in the first andrade fight). I would be surprised if he didn't take the rematch, and knowing the full possibility of what can happen to him, learn from it and put out a better performance. -
Bute move very little to his right. When getting hit actually went straight backwards and stood too much in the pocket.
Froch has a great chin, Bute knew he hit him with solid punches but it didn't have the effect that he is used to. Also Froch punched even when getting hit with great punches.Comment
