Is that why you now have 43,000 posts on a boxing site?
      Was it tough finding another?

Fair enough, that wasn't really the theme of the thread. Perhaps I spoke in too personal terms. But really, why post at all? Fecking troll ****

As for the topic, most casuals, and non boxing fans I know think its all rigged and filled with BS. They dont think its fake in terms of the contact, but scripted to an extent, and with predetermined winners...
Exactly, and that doesn't stop them from watching either. My favorite quote from the casuals: "It's a business." In all honesty it is, but not in the way they're thinking.

That's it though and when casual fans hear more about the curruption and BS it puts them off. That's partly why I think alot of semi fight fans prefer MMA... A fight is made and the fighters just do it and that's that.

I am a hermit with my boxing. Any time I try to get people involved or have friends over to watch, it ends with them asking me

"How do you watch this ****??"

              To each their own.

Sure. All sports are a business really. Its that motivation to be on top and make the big bucks that drives alot of the athletes. I guess boxing just differs as the sport where you can make TONS of money without having to win against the best AT ALL TIMES. The lack of a governing body holds the sport back I think.

Boxing needs a more solid structure imo.

Sometimes one has to slap a ho and put her in her spot for meddling in subjects they have no knowledge of.

Bring your wife/gf to a live show I'll give you a 80% chance of having one very horny woman when the shows over. I sold alot of seats in my time and one of the best draws was the effect seeing live boxing has on women especially ones that say they don't like it!! Liars!!! HA!! Ray.
