I really don't like Pavlik moving up to 168. Majority of the guys at 168 have a style that has caused major problems for Pavlik in the past. If he could move to 160 he would have a great shot of being a force. Yes, Martinez is there but that would the only guy that Pavlik wouldn't have a shot against. At 168 I don't see him having a chance with majority of the top 5 or 6 guys. Maybe Kessler but the rest of them guys would be very difficult.

What makes you say Pavlik doesn't have a chance against Martinez (if Pavlik is able to make 160 healthily, and that's a huge if)? If I remember correctly, in their fight, Martinez won the first rounds, Pavlik won the middle rounds, and when Pavlik got cut and couldn't see (where his cutman did an absoloutely terrible job), Martinez won the last rounds... If Pavlik would not have suffered that cut, things may have turned out differently. Who knows?! What I do know is that whenever someone possesses the power that Kelly does, you ALWAYS have a chance to win. ALWAYS!

Kelly throws bombs, he could compete at 160, 168 or 175 IMO.
Super-Middleweight is tough, because there are so many decent fighters but I don't see why he doesn't have a chance. He'll kill himself getting down to 160, then be weak and dehydrated. Put on some muscle, get comfortable at 168 and we'll see.

So glad Kelly's back. He's one of my favourites

Small @ 68? Pavlik is taller then Froch and struggled to make 160. And I will say it, regardless of what Froch did to Bute his power is still overrated. Pavlik also happens to have a pretty good set of whiskers on him.

LoL...Kessler would destroy him at 168!
Pavlik cant make the weight and hes getting older...he would go ok at 168 if he can find some form again and lay off the piss.

I always look forward to FNFs, but I think this one should be particularly good.

I personally believe Pavlik is the bigger puncher. He is also much younger than Kessler. And if Green could drop Kessler...lol

I like that Pavlik is talking smart and not desperate enough for a 160 fight to where he'd kill his body in the process. If he can make 160 then sweet. A few good fights at MW but he shouldn't worry about Chavez cuz he'll be at 168 in a fight or two anyway. The Ghost has a lot of good options!
