I'm not one for hating much, though I remember millions of threads prior to the Wladimir fight that he was the second coming and all, and suppose to save the division. I guess they all disappeared with him?

I don't think that they went anywhere, he just hasn't fought since the Wlad fight, so there has been nothin much to talk about. But I gurantee the man will be back, and if he improves his technique and stamina, the rest of the division should watch out.

And just becasue your a fan of fighter why does that instantly make you a "nuthugger"?

I'd say hes going to be champ eventually. He's what 25? Plenty of time to develop some boxing skills and so on. Wlad is not an esay opponent to beat either, and I thought Peter gave him a good fight even thought he commited 2 fouls that they counted as knockdowns. He also needs to learn some damn defense. His chin has been tested now and its obviously one of the best in the division.

The only reason there was so many people buzzing around that fight was cause everyone thought it was going to be a war and people really weren't supporting Peter, they were bashing Wlad to a great extent.

If the Flu stories were true, he gave more than a "good" performance against Wlad. I don't know if they were or not, though.

I definitely think Peter will be back. I thought the fight with Wlad was too big a step up at the time. As much as I dislike Wlad, I have to give props to him as the most skilled boxer in the division. I hope that the heart an stamina he showed in the Peter fight stays with him.

Yeah I agree, it seemed to be more about bashing Wlad than nuthugging Peter. If Peter would do some roadwork and maybe lose about 10 or 15 lbs. he would be even more successful than he probably already will be, as long as he learns how to follow the rules because somebody is gonna catch on to that **** and he'll end up losing over it.

Well, what I meant by nuthugging is all the threads that popped up about how Peter was gonna own Wlad and he's the only guy worth being the undisputed Heavyweight champ. I mean, sure, it could all happen, though not now, he's was and is still too green to take on any of the top competition. He clearly got dominated by Wlad. He only got points for his knockdowns which 2 were behind the head, 1 legit. Other than that, Wlad schooled him. I guess you could say more people just hated Wlad, though the majority of threads acting like Peter's was gonna plow through Wlad, take out the rest of the division, and sit on top.
