Look at the likes of Bronze medalist Tony Jeffries, he never got any publicity.
David Price has only recently started to get the attention he deserves. James Degale won GOLD yet he never got 10% of the fame Khan has had.
It's a joke that theyve chosen him to carry the torch, in fact Khan's whole career is one big overhyped comedy act.
yeah but you don't get it do you even though I mentioned it in my post, he was ONLY 17 years old and he achieved a silver medal in the athens olympics, that in it self is pretty amazing whether you like the guy or not, also he was the SOLE boxing representative for team GB, which makes it even more amazing, so I'm sure you can understand why he gets so much attention over Price and them lot.

None of those guys were the sole boxing representative for Team GB boxing olympics nor aged 17.

      You are the joke!

It was between him and Peter Kay.

And Peter Kay was too busy ordering a Large Big Mac meal for 3,for himself.

Can't believe the hate Khan gets to be honest, especially when you consider the personality some boxers have (ahem Adrian Broner?). Anyway sorry to repeat what's been said numerous times, but he was our sole representative at The Olympics, when still a child at 17, and he kicked ass. Of course he deserves to carry the torch through Bolton. Go on Amir!
