Why are so many NSBers achievement over entertainment orientated?

I've seen a lot of discussion about Carl Froch over this last week from any tard who can't use the "search" button and instead makes his own thread on the same subject.

But in all the discussions of resumes, skills, achievements, one of the things I haven't heard discussed is.... what a ****ing entertaining fight it was.

Carl is, IMO, nearly always in entertaining fights. It takes a real bore (more of which later) to drown him out. If I put up a poll asking which was the best Super Six fight then I feel sure at least 80% would pick Carl vs. The Robo Schnell, cos it was a cracker, wasn't it?

It just puzzles me why people are so obsessed with legacy, particularly this ridiculous "undefeated" stance. I'd rather a boxer take losses in great fights than win but stink the place out.

It's like with Andre Ward... the ****'s so ****ing boring he could send a glass eye to sleep. He's so tedious it's like watching a Bernard Hopkins highlight reel.

Why do ****s always spend their time arguing about legacies, when they could be :wank: over what great fights they've watched?

Everyone here likes boxing so that it was found entertaining should be a given~ at least when talking that fight.

It would be boring to talk that since 99% would agree.

I never hear it, mate... I just hear someone was owned/exposed/overrated/underrated/had haters/had nuthuggers/other stuff that's an intelligent conversation if you were in first grade.

I never hear discussion about people enjoying the fights.

I actually find both Ward and Froch entertaining in their own way.

And, for accomplishments. I think both are top 5 SMW's of all time. Maybe in the top 3.

I can appreciate what he does... unfortunately what he does most is bore the **** out of people.

True there is a lot of petty arguing and people want to be on the right side of a debate. I think a lot of it has to do with a very vocal minority, which shifts from fight to fight so some group is always vocal and upset about something.

Still I would think most people who frequent here enjoy fights even if they don't say it, for some people not every fight and you are much more likely to hear a fight was ass than a fight was awesome.

Its checkers & chess, to keep it simple. To me there is nothing "exciting" about a wild swinging, my gameplan is to hit u as hard as I can, but if I miss make sure I'm on top of u to rabbit punch u, slow flat footed, no jab having brawler with an awkward stance. (Just my opinion)
I like Carl but I enjoy watching with real skills do his thing, how "Boxing" was meant to be.
If I wanted to see 2 bums swinging for the fences till one lost his head, id watch any UFC undercard match.
it takes skills to break a man down, while taking little to no punishment (Why do u think Carl lost to SOG?) He couldn't land & if Carl can't land he can't win.
