Who knows where science is a few years from now.

Keep trucking a long and do what you can Paul. Even if it's borderline impossible (i wouldn't know) nothing good would come from giving up.

I think it's pretty clear his career is over.

I don't really know that much about PW and have only watched one of his fights but that's a great reaction. I know someone who is walking again after initially being paralysed from the waist down. Optimism and effort.

Glad to know that the punisher has a positive attitude towards what just happened. The mind is very powerful and when he says he can walk again then he can walk again. Keep on punching, champ!!!

What an amazing guy. Glad he is in good spirits. He's a true warrior. Sucks so bad that this happened to him. I really hope he can beat the odds and walk again. He had a very good career.

As I said before, people didn't believe Willie Pep would walk properly much less fight again after being in an airplane accident, but he derided the odds to become a top fighter again. Hopefully Paul Williams can do the same thing, if not I hope he can live a normal life again atleast.

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly be more of a fan of his... he goes and says this.

"If I can't walk, then, oh well. 'Hakuna Matata,' [No Worries]. I'll be on a boat fishing," Williams said.

                  I mean... wow.

                    Unfortunately it's not even comparable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Willie Pep's spinal column wasn't 90% severed, was it? It's good to hold out hope that Paul will walk again someday but ultimately it's a very unrealistic expectation.

                      Here's hoping for a miracle.
