I have heard a lot of talk about Valero getting his title shot vs. WBA (WBA is located in Venuzuela) champ Vicente Mosquera in Venuzuela.
Check THIS guy out!

John, this is what you said about Valero back in October, on the following linked thread http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=50237Originally posted by ICEMAN JOHN SCULLY
"NOT SO FAST, look at the records of all the guys he fought. MANY guys would have the same record as he does if they fought the same exact guys"
To which I responded, back then, "If you've been following Valero on MaxBoxing.com, Doug Fischer is of the belief that Valero has been the real deal. The problem is that with the discovery of a past head injury, he will never be able to fight in America again. Reliable reports had him chewing up major, major competition in sparring."
So, all I wonder is, what changed your mind that you got excited enough about him this time around to make a post?
Hope your day is going well...Comment

Valero was suspended by the New York State Athletic Comission last year after a dark spot was discovered on an MRI. It was the result of a motorcycle accident years earlier.
There are currently two schools of thought on his condition. Some physicians are saying he is at risk of serious injury should he continue to fight, while others believe he is at no greater risk than any normal person. The problem is that so little is really understood about how the human brain works. He is currently appealing the decision, and should soon be examined by team of neurosurgeons. New York has agreed to lift his suspension if the medical team reccommends it.Comment
