I love these classic BOXER VS PUNCHER fights! I got Soto winning a hard fought decision.

Lucas is a damn good boxer himself.

Technically, I don't agree. He throws a lot of looping punches, defense is lacking and his footwork isn't much either. He's got power in both hands and a solid chin though. I'd like to see Maidana get the winner. Him and Matthysse have history.

Man, Lucas boxed absolutely beautifully against Alexander & Judah. Who are fairly decent boxers. if body shots counted anymore, he'd own his W's & rightfully so.

He definitely got robbed against Alexander. The Judah fight was a toss up imo. Yeah a lot of judges don't count body punches like they should because they are subtle and aren't flashy like head shots. Matthysse's future looks very promising.

Seven and a half feet above sea level?

Perhaps the writer meant seven and a half thousand feet?

Soto has been the biggest waste of talent. Now is time to see if he can bring it. Lucas is one of the top fighters in the division but is far from something special so Soto has to shine.

I give the edge to Lucas in this fight

Yeah in my eyes Matthysse is undefeated, I think he beat Zab and he 100% beat Alexander without a doubt. Soto is tough and very skilled but Matthysse may be too powerful for him. It should be a good fight but I would be surprised if Soto beats him. I will go with Matthysse in this one by late round stoppage, BUT I could see Soto winning a decision. Tough to call.
