Lara also discussed his frustration with not being offered a shot at WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. As reported earlier on BoxingScene, Canelo is likely going to face James Kirkland on September 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Canelo was originally scheduled to fight Williams.
