The Greatest Fighter No One Ever Hears Of

I've got a few, but let's start out with this fighter, can you guess who? :

-13 losses in 288 fights, only stopped ONCE.

-127 wins by KO (only one with more than that is archie moore, yes?)

    -fought as featherweight thru heavyweight

-had a 54 fight unbeaten streak.

amazing record and you never hear of the guy, anyone guess his name?

Genji Kamogawa of Japan, waaaay back during like around the WW2 days was a legendary boxer in Japan. Can't even find him on Boxrec.

This dude punched logs into the side of big hills to train, no joke.

          Guy you mentioned, Jimmy Wilde?
That guy fought almost 100 percent bums. And you thought Ricky Hatton was bad.

Sure you can. He's in the same category as Joe Palooka.

A great and under apreciated fighter is Khaosai Galaxy, also known as the Thai Tyson.

He was a super flyweight champ who had 19 title defenses of his WBA belt, and he has a recored of 47-1 with 41 KOS, are you kidding!!! The man is a superflyweight and he has 41 KOs ,WOW!

Thai boxers...yeah, thing about that is umm...most of them fight against utter mediocre opposition. Mediocre isn't even a strong enough word. They literally will get poor people off the streets who have never really boxed and put them in the ring against some of these seasoned pros.

Imagine someone grabbing one of your co-workers or friends who isn't at all into boxing and sticking them in the ring against, hmm, Jeff Lacy. That's kind of what they do a lot in Thailand. Unusually high number of ring deaths in Thailand too.

I'm not saying that Thai Tyson did this, I don't know, maybe not. But I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Yeah, 41 KOs at 115 is a ton. Guys at that weight don't have a lot of place for muscle.
