Actually, Pac is the most overrated in 15 16 years, he started boxing in 1996 or 97.

Pac just wants to fight and make money. He steps into the ring with great champions and puts on a magnificent show. He's not overrated but he really needs to push for a mayweather fight even if it means that he will receive less money. Doesn't he feel confident enough to win?

Some one posted this in one of the previous threads....Ive always thought about it but I have to agree.Most people add into how likeable a fighter is when considering their place among the greats, but really it has no creedance.

Of the previous p4p kings Mayweather(who never lost and is still active Manny got p4p by default), Roy Jones, and Pernell Whitaker none of them got the praise of Pacquiao and they were more dominant and illustrated more skill in the ring

Fighters who were undoubtedly the best of their time like Roy Jones and Pernell Whitaker didnt recieve half the hoopla Pacquaio does and both beat their closest rivals of their time. Both never lost a clear fight til their mid 30's and dominated their eras and people always have something to say about their style or competition. Jones and Floyd Mayweather beat more champions than Manny, and Whitaker proved he was the best of his era by fighting the best


I think its his fans that overrate him, but most hardcore fans and other people dont....some of his ardent fans assertions are a bit far fetched and overboard

Also Mayweather outside of Judah most of Mayweathers top flight opponents are coming off good showings unlike Pacquaio

So you can take things away from pac such as catchweights etc... (even though you know cotto weighed in the same for 2 previous WW 147 limit fights)

And then you will talk about mayweathers champion titles....where hes faught people such as Judah which was one of his bigger wins at WW...but realistically who is Judah? Hes a gatekeeper...Carlos Baldomir....

You can criticise pac...and yes some of his fans go on about him so much it begins to bring hate on the dude

But at the end of the day...Hes been the underdog for most his big fights n still wins

Barrera, Marquez, Morales.... Fighting those people alone would give someone huge credit let alone winning majority of the fights

People rip pac for the marquez fights... but how many fighters have you seen make a match even with someone who they know is completely wrong for their style..and still make a 3rd fight?

You got balls if u fight someone who is all wrong for u 3 times....

If mayweather ever had the balls pac has, he might be labelled the greatest of this era

The difference is, it took a guy named pacquiao to finally get mayweather to take some risks and fight some people we actually want to see him fight
