There have been reports in the Polish press that representatives from Portfel.pl, a big sponser of former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (45-2, 28 KOs), would like to place the Polish superstar in a fall showcase in Poland, and there is talk of a Eastern European opponent. WBA "regular" heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16 KOs) has been mentioned.

Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. Adamek has a tough challenge ahead of him; It's a fight that basically 50:50. If he can get that, then a Povietkin showdown is a very good option. If a winner of that fight can get Haye-Chisora winner, it would get very interesting.

Povetkin has been so unimpressive after the Chambers fight... Except for Chagaev, I wouldn't pick him against any Top 10 Heavyweight and even a few Cruiserweights. Rahman is going to be dangerous early.

Pvetkin-Adamek is a fight I want to see though. I'd heavily favor Adamek, but you never know until it happens.

Povetkin will very likely beat Rahman, but Adamek-Chambers is close to an even matchup.

Povetkin-Adamek if it happens would be an interesting matchup between two smaller but technically skilled HWs.

I just hope Povetkin is in better shape for Rahman and other future fights than he was for the Huck fight.
