The Knock downs of Cotto were not flash,but clean solid knock downs early in the fight when Cotto was not tired. Cotto said right before the Pacquiao fight and right after the fight that he was 100%.Cotto took a punch just fine against Clottey at 146 so being 145 at the weigh in is not going to turn his chin to glass when he has a over 30 hours to drink and eat before the fight. You don't break a bone with a bunch of little punches, it takes a fast heavy blow to do that. Shane Mosley said Pacquiao had more punching power than anyone he had ever fought and he fought lots of big punchers. Nobody has ever really hurt Clottey including the knock down by Cotto. He surely can hurt Marquez as 4 knock downs in the past prove. You have to land a big punch cleanly to hurt a tough pro like Marquez. If he hits Marquez with the same punch he put Hatton to sleep with Marquez will be out cold. He would have flattened Oscar but Oscar quit first. He layed Hatton out cold for 5 minutes with one perfect, crushing left hook. If you can watch that punch and still say Pacquiao does not hit hard then I guess you have your mind made up.

Manny was always an accumulation type guy even at the lower weights.....its just that back then he had some quicky kayos becuase he wasnt fighting the top guys until fighting Marquez, Morales and company....aside from Hatton he has shown the same kind of power....speed=power
