    Get better Paul

Sad news. I couldn't believe it when i read this. I was looking forward to his next fight with Canelo. It brought a smile to my face tho to see Paul be positive about the situation, and I wish for him to overcome the odds. Get better Paul!

Just devastating. Can't get over this myself. Check out Max Kellerman's tweet about Paul; we're pulling for the champ. You can do it, Paul.

One of my fav fighters that always had the heart and desire to tackle all challenges and obstacles. Such sad news, but knowing P-Will....that same desire and heart he had for the sport of boxing, will on doubt transcend into his recovery, and he will beat the odds. Best of luck Punisher....we are all behind you.

This is really a sad situation!! His manager said there's no hope for him walking, I hope the doctors could do something & Williams could pull a Vinney Pazienzia!!

I'd like to see him involved in the sport, maybe as a commentator. News really is devastating. As sad as people feel for him it is only a fraction of the turmoil he and his family is going through.

Dang, I wasn't a fan of his but it really no longer matters and I hope him the best in what ever path lies in front of him. I will also keep him in my prayers!

Just thinking about Paul Williams, his smile, the kind of human being he seems to be makes this hard. When I read the part of the article where Peterson confirmed Williams will never walk again I had to resist driving my fist into the desk. This is ****ed.

One thing I've noticed in boxing is that tragedy(including upsets) strikes at almost the same time, like Gatti, Arguello, and Forrest. It happened once again as it was tragic to hear Paul Williams and Johnny Tapia within a day of each other meet untimely endings (in different ways). Not much of a bright side but at least Williams is still ticking unlike the rest I mentioned.

Unfortunately it's over, but I hope if Paul ever reads this I want him to know that his boxing career helped me out tremendously when I was in a bad time in my life...that's all I'll say about it Thank you Paul and good luck with the rest of your life.
