I remember how quiet I got after Martinez stopped Williams in their rematch. I didn't feel like going out for like 3 days after that, because of how sad I was that one of my favorite fighters lost that way.

For this, I'm just speechless. Don't really know what to say. I hope Williams will be okay and is taking this well. He must be heartbroken and feeling a lot of regret right now.

Do we have any other credible sources reporting this yet?

            Shocked.

Just hope he recovers enough to walk and live a healthy life.

This news and Tapia's death have really bummed me out. Puts boxing in perspective, really.

its true bro it's everywhere. A news outlet in Atlanta near where the accident happened is reporting it. It doesn't get more credible than that.

Bruh we all agree that what that man said was ****** and out of place. Don't add to it with more out of place BS

Absolutely speechless hope this isn’t as bad as it first seems and Paul can make a full recovery and have the normality he wants enjoyed.

I can't help but to hope it isn't true or that the extent of his damage is exaggerated.

This is just a horrifying injury to a warrior and an athlete who deserves better.

I've known people who have suffered the same and life can still go on, but it is easy to say that life will never quite be the same, especially for a man who basically lived in the gym and worked out all his life.

I only hope he makes recovery to the extent he can walk again, forgetting about his career for the moment. That is not even a concern at this point.
