Boxing legend Johnny Tapia, 45, found dead

RIP. Prayers go out to his family. A notable fighter to say the least, in his day.


I really wish I could make jokes relating this to something like, "he read check hooks post history and had a heart attack" or something amusing, but that would be totally inappropriate.

Hopefully it's nothing too complicated, that which revolves around the cause of his death, and I hope he was at peace with himself, God, and his family when he passed.
Fighters really need to take better care of themselves, during, and after their careers.

This just ruined my day. I knew something was going to come sooner than later with Tapia. But, this is hard for me. I'm truly saddened by this news. Anyone who watched boxing in the 90's respected Mi Vida Loca. No other fighter has ever had such a fitting nickname.
