Thing is, how can you tell whether that reaction is due to physical or mental factors? He was definitely getting buzzed by Andrade and Froch enough for me to suspect that he has a less than durable jaw. Pure glass? No. But if it leads to him panicking, freezing or whatever, then it might as well be, since it results in the same thing.

Whatever his opinion is on the strength of his chin, this fight further proved that he might need to adjust his style, but he definitely needs to fix his defense.
I agree that he may not have a glass chin because he did take a lot of bombs and managed to stay upright for a few rounds, but it is a clear weakness. On top of that, he has a terrible poker face inside the ring.Comment

His chin's not pure glass or he would have gone down a lot earlier, despite the ropes and all.
It's not exactly a Froch Chin tho.Comment

He was hurt by every clean punch Froch landed. That's a chin problem if ever there was one. It's not he was considered to have an iron chin going in, it was questionable.Comment

In the first fight with Andrade it was due to fatigue. He was seriously exhausted. This is the second time he's been KO'ed as a professional and third I know of (Golovkin KO'ed him in the amateurs)... so I'd say he's got some chin problems. The only reason, IMO, this hasn't happened more to him is because he's been fighting guys with not enough skill to land a solid punch on the chin.
In his fight with Froch he got stunned by Froch's power punching. He's been in the ring with hard punchers before. I won't categorize him as "glass chinned". He just looked very uncomfortable, some may even say scared, because of the hectic atmosphere and Froch's pressure. I was surprised to see him being hit so many times as his defense are usually very solid.Comment
