Froch hits hard. All of his opponents say the same thing.

If Froch can land that many punches on every one he fights, he'd knock them all out. What Bute needs is called defense.

In my humble opinion Bute doesn't deserve a rematch, but it will end the same as the first. Maybe a later stoppage, but as long as Froch isn't too reckless, he should walk right through Bute the second time around. He already owns him mentally and physically. Any adjustments and strategies Bute may have made will go out the window when he tastes the leather of Froch's fists.

I say if Bute wants it, give it to him. I feel bad for him now. Because he's a kool kat. I"m just mad at the people that lied to him & told him he was something special.

I still dont see this rematch happening, i have seen sooo many boxers who despite having a rematch clause and despite telling everyone that they would do a rematch never actually did, so i would be waiting patiently to see if Bute actually go ahead with the planned rematch.

Incredible performance by Carl Froch, he's won me over with this victory but to be honest Bute looked completely out of it last night. He didn't attempt anything. He just stood by the ropes and let Froch beat him up. I was seriously shocked

If he wants to regain credibility he will have to fight Froch again, hopefully in Montreal

Bute showed what type of man he was by taking the Froch fight in Nottingham in the first place. It wouldnt surprise me if after a bounce back fight he took the rematch in Montreal and gave a better account for himself.

Like I've said from the door, not only was Bute overrated. And people thought he was slick, while I was saying he had a serious defensive deficiency that hadn't been seen yet given the opposition he'd faced. The funny thing is, when Froch hurt Bute, he was countering him. Froch didn't go caveman style until he noticed Bute was hurt, which is even more telling about Bute's defense. Bute was hit with virtually everything Froch threw his way, and was hurt.

I have no personal thing against Bute, but his management I do. They've virtually screwed his career and waited too long before sticking him in there with very good opposition. Bute looked out of his depth. I think it's been proven now that Ward and Froch are the two best in the world. And given the fact there's no need for a Ward-Froch rematch, and besides the Dirrell brothers there's really no one left at the moment to challenge Ward's supremacy I have a feeling Ward may end up moving up officially to LHW given the fact he's beaten the best in the division.

i admit bute NEEDED to be tested, but i am a fan of his... simply put, carl is on another level. the man survived the super six and has proven his place. i really thought bute would outbox the brit... maybe the rematch (if it happens) would be his chance to do it right.

I am sure Lucian can come back better, but it was there for the world to see that his chin is vulnerable. Froch was totally convinced of the weak chin, and thats why Froch at times went hell for leather, just looking for the punch to land on Lucian, no messing about.
