Dirrell arguably should have won the fight, and though people say he "ran", he really avoided most of Froch's punches and dished out his own that landed. Yes, he really probably should have won.

People hate Dirrell on this site but you can't hate on his skills. The dude is very good. TBH, just how Ward dominated Froch, Froch did it to Bute. Really don't see a need for a rematch. What I'd like to see is Froch fight Kessler again(good first fight and both won big in their last fights), and for Dirrell to mix it up with Bute. The winners can then square off. Sort of a mini super 4 kind of thing.

I had Dirrell winning rather comfortably but it was a scrappy fight and I thought if Dirrell had let his hands go a little bit more he might have stamped his case on the fight. The way he fought might have made him look bad in the eyes of the judges.

Do you feel that he did the same thing against Abraham also? Mind you he was whipping his ass big time. Dirrell is just a sneaky bastard. He likes to be cautious but I can't hate him for that. Those tactics ain't pretty to watch but the ref could easily deduct if he wanted to. If the ref doesn't seem to find a problem with it, I can't either. Just going off the fight and what went down, Dirrell certainly got the job done. I don't believe in the rule you have to go the extra mile to beat the champ. Win more rounds, you get the W.
