Stephan Larouche, the trainer of former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (30-1, 24KOs), admits that his fighter will have to re-evaluate his career after a comprehensive defeat to Carl Froch (29-2, 21KOs) in his first world-class test.

The way they've conducted themselves throughout has been excellent. True gents.

It'll help if he learns not to go back to the ropes and how to tie a man up when hurt.

Bute doesn't have the chin to fight Froch the way he did on Sat night. If he has any chance in a rematch he seriously needs to address his defence and nullify Froch's pressure.

He played completely into Froch's hands by going back to the ropes and letting Froch throw.

He needs to learn the veteran tricks.

If Bute didn't know how to tie up he would have been knocked out in the 3rd hes just not on Frochs level.

Team Bute were nothing but high class throughout the whole build-up and after fight, good guy's.

I said yesterday that I wasn't overly fond of Bute, but I really do hope he bounces back from this and has a great end to his career. He took on a challenge here that he didn't have to, he gave it a try and just didn't have enough, through it all he remained classy. Wish team Bute nothing but the best moving forward.

I wanna see a rematch so Bute can prove to himself and for the fans who watched that he still have what it takes to be a world class boxer.

Bute just made a statement in which he said that it was his strategy to stay in the ropes, trying to bait Froch and then countering him with powerful hits. He did not expect Froch's hits to be so powerful and exact.
I can still see him win using another strategy.

Obviously wrong stategy. Horrible strategy especially when you consider that you came into the opponent's home town to win.
