Nobody is beating Alvarez big unless he fights Mayweather next. These things should be analyzed on a case by case basis. Canelo is not Bute. Nobody is going to run over Chavez Jr at MW either not even Martinez. Alvarez & Chavez never looked ****k'd off the way Bute did in the Andrade fight where he got knocked out. Don't make this comparison because quite frankly this is not the case.

There is a reason Dirrell spent the entire fight against Froch running, hugging complaining to the ref and intentionally dropping to the canvas to get a break in the action.

Yes that reason is because had Dirrell not employed these tactics he would have shared the same fate as Bute.

When Dirrell did fight the right way though, which he did the last three rounds, he looked great against Froch. It's not like he couldn't fight that way, he's just a mentally suspect fighter that is negative when he's unsure.

I'm not saying he can't fight the right way,but he did not fight the right way is how I feel on it...I thought that Froch caught Dirrell a view times where it could have hurt Dirrell and then he resorted back to his tactics..So I believe he could have been stopped had he fought straight up,the reason he did well in the last 3 rds was cause Froch did not know if Dirrell was going to flip or flop..Which is something he should not have to have on his mind,I just don't like what Dirrell did in both of his top fights in his career..It really is how I remember him,he should keep fighting so he can take those images out of the fans mind,talking slick is not helping that..

they are friends, nothing wrong with them not fighting as far as i'm concerned. yeah dirrell was classless but ward gave froch props. they are definitely not cut from the same cloth, the only meaning i can give to that is they both convincingly beat froch, one of them was given the nod, the other didn't. clearly ward is smarter and would know he lose a decision in nothingan no matter what. that's a difference. and before you come shooting about ward fighting at home relax, it's not like he's sven otke robbing fighters (in fact he puts on a clinic on other great fighters like froch himself).

edit: find me a fight ward robbed someone of a victory because he fought at home and i'll be the first to defend he should go to denmark, germany or england.
