Let me make it simple for you. Just because Froch dominated Bute doesn't mean Ward could in the same manor.

Ward had plenty of opportunities to make it happen and he declined.

My POINT was that Ward can speak his mind about matters at 168 because he is the winner of a somewhat convoluted, good intentioned tourney style premise that could have not took so long. But he won it.

To be honest, I thought Bute had a good chance of winning this fight. Oh well.

Ward might be a duck. But it seems like he is in talks to fight the LHW champ in Dawson.

Numpty, you are annoying me. He publicly declined a fight with Bute stating a load of reasons. He didn't decline to fight EVERYONE.

he declined a fight with bute. he said he was taking a break, his hand needed to heal and that bute needed to prove himself first. everything he said was the truth. bute did not deserve the fight, and froch proved that. ward did not get back in the ring and has not been back in the ring since then and his next fight is against a fighter that is definitely considered better than bute. whats not to understand? just because ward did not fight bute when u wanted it to happen does not mean hes ducked him. bute wasnt supposed to lose this fight, its not wards fault he did.

Calling Dirrell a bum is a bit much. The guy argueably beat Froch in England and was the first guy to expose the then unbeaten Arthur Abraham. Personally, I think he outboxed Froch but didn't do enough to TAKE the title from the champ in his own backyard. Also, I think he did some serious acting against AA when he pretended to be KO'd well after the initial punch. He also ducked Ward in the Super Six, in my opinion. The kid is has tremendous skill but his heart is questionable and his sportsmanship is in need of a serious makeover if he plans to win fans and be a star.
