He said his hand was hurting so bad that it hurt to just hit the mitts! Even wrapping his hand hurt him. He finally found out his hand was indeed fractured, but still dominated.

You can just imagine what a fully healthy Ward would do to Froch.
he did well but i think it could be a different fight if its Froch home field advantage this time, with Ward still winning but possibly a much closer fight.

If Carl won 1 more round in the 1st fight it would have been a draw. Casnt get closer than that.

If he can comes close in Amercia then it wouldnt surprise me to see Carl take a close decision in Nottingham. We know Ward isnt winning by KO for sure.

While Froch had the more difficult fights had no bye and his body was basically burnt out.by the time the final came. If you can't see that than you must be a fool
thats not what i saw. i saw a guy who couldn't handle the style of ward. but if you wanna make believe that froch lost because he had tougher fights then that's fine

real boxing fans that understand boxing know this is just one style owning another style, froch doesn't have the style to give ward problems let alone beat him

This is a typical Yankian response, where the pea brain of the average Yank confuses a political/historical construct with geographical mass.

OBVIOUSLY Fat Yanks in Atlantic City would look at Andre Ward as a Fat Yank, no matter what the distance... but Carl Froch wouldn't be looked on as "one of us" by people who don't have his religion, or even speak his language.

This kind of **** should be OBVIOUS, but there you go...

I'll answer the question the way I did in another thread:

              * The first fight showed that judges (at least some judges) are more partial to the style of Froch than Ward. Let's not forget that - while not the retconned shut out by the average NSB member, Carl did legitimately win 2-4 rounds - what was a relatively wide fight was scored closely on the scorecards.

Was it possible for Carl to do better? Yeah, probably.

What the first fight showed us is that he wouldn't actually have to win, to win.

              You dig?

Lol at the posters saying that hometown isnt an advantage. Those guys never saw the s6.

And lol at the fatyankian geography in here.

I don't get how so many people can say Carl has "no chance" to beat Ward on the judge's scorecards, when he got given 5 rounds in a fight he lost widely.

                  The judges like his style.
