    Check this

I think he actually has a better chance against Dawson than Ward does!!!

Froch has the style to beat southpaws, its uncanny how effective it is.

But I agree that they would be good opponents down the line.

Ward didn't have home advantage...? The fight happened in Atlantic City, NJ. That's about 3,000 miles away from Ward's hometown. Froch is a great fighter but Ward has already proved himself by dominating Froch

Also, I called this fight. I knew Froch was going to beat Bute. When for 30 fights you haven't faced top competition, and then all the sudden up and decide to, THIS can happen. Why do you think people in boxing always say a prospect needs to be properly brought up? THIS is why.

Froch having home court advantage really had little to nothing to do with this. The fact is, EVERY single time Froch even grazed Bute, Bute was reeling allover the place. Like I ALSO said, Bute had a defensive vulnerability that hadn't been seen as much given the opposition he had faced. Froch was able to hit him at will. I really see no point of a rematch of Froch-Bute. Or a fight between Ward and Bute. To me, after being utterly outclassed and knocked out inside 5 rounds, I really don't see how Bute should even be rated in peoples top ten lists.

I don't think a rematch would be any different than the original. Whether Froch rematched Ward or Bute.

              No, no, no.

Everything great about Carl was on display tonight. Everything worked and there was nothing Bute could do. However, all those things that Carl did tonight are the things that Ward counters, slips and generally laughs at.

Kessler II is where it's at.

Also, to Joeyzags. While I see your point, that's not necessarily true. While I'm not a fan of Dawson, he is better defensively then Bute, and is just an overall better more technically proficient fighter. Bute was just exposed as being what he truly is, a B level fighter who's looked good because of who he's fought his whole career.

He's a decent fighter, but Froch just proved tonight he doesn't deserve nor belong in the same sentence as Ward and Froch, period. I called this fight from day one. I knew Bute had a serious defensive deficiency, that hadn't been seen yet because of the level of competition he'd been facing and I said everyone would be shocked at how easy Froch would be able to hit him, sure enough it happened. Bute couldn't avoid, nor could he handle a single shot froch threw his way. Bute's management completely f.ucked his career.

Off subject but you're honestly the only person I have ever seen who lists Joshua Clottey as one of their favorite fighters. I'm shocked, never thought I'd see it. When he throws punches he's fun to watch because he has great power. Just doesn't throw enough for my tastes. Not trying to take shots at you bro just genuinely would like to know what you like about him?

I'm not a Clottey fan but I love that defensive guard he uses, Abraham's is similar. It seems water-tight.
