Froch's an exciting fighter taking on an unbeaten fighter?

Froch is coming of a lopsided loss, I don't see it as a huge fight, just a good test for Bute. He'll probably stop Froch in 8-10 rds.
You act like he lost against a (and I hate this term) 'bum', he lost against one of the best fighters in the sport.

Maybe because it's a mouthwatering clash between two of the best SMWs in the sport? Maybe because Froch is hardly ever in a boring fight? Maybe because Bute is undefeated and willing to put it all on the line in enemy territory against a fighter who, stylistically, could cause him major problems.

I dunno, what do you think?

At first I think Froch will try to out jab him, not fair too well and then start pushing Bute back. He will have to be very careful though because Bute seems to love sneaky hard uppercuts.

I think Froch should push Bute hard, then really come on the 10th round on. He could make Bute buckle from pressure and fatigue

          I don't see it this way, I think it's gonna be a one-sided affair but we'll see.

Im calling it right now. Bute KO's Froch before the 12th.

I see Froch fighting his usual one dimensional way and getting tagged with big shots.

Bute's jabs not the best, but he uses it and he has a good way of mixing in hooks and uppercuts. I say he puts Froch down a couple of times before the referee calls it.

As a backup prediction (if there is such a thing), same thing happens but with Froch surviving the fight and losing a UD.

Also just to add to my prediction, I think Froch gets KO'd by a body shot.

I really don't see what the big fuss is about imo this fight is actually pretty easy to call.

Froch has a big problem fighting boxers who like to move as we saw with Dirrell and Ward.

He did well against the likes of Kessler, Abraham and Johnson because they're not movers. Bute has great footwork and boxing skills all that is needed to neutralise Carl.

And for the people saying that Froch is proven and Bute isn't, think about this...was Ward proven before the super six? Had he fought anybody of note? The answer is no. Class always comes through.

I love Carl (no ****) and I'll be rooting for him but it's a big ask for him to pull it off.

not a big fan of either fighter to be honest, but I have some respect for Froch...Bute on the other hand I think is a FRAUD and one of the biggest HYPE JOBS in boxing today

I feel his hype is out of DESPERATION from Canadian fans who are DESPERATE FOR SOMETHING TO CHEER FOR, I think Ward would MURDER BUTE, that "SLICK" crap won't work against Ward because Ward is not going to Head Hunt against him, he is going to get inside and MURDER HIM TO THE BODY, I think Andre Dirrell would beat him, I think Jean Pascal would beat him as would Kessler if he would have stayed at 168, only way Bute can beat Ward is a Hometown Decision and a Ref that will stop the action for no reason and then stall and allow Bute to recover like that one ref did during the 1st Andrade fight

So Lucian Bute should beat Froch, the blue print has been laid 3 times during the Super 6 Tournament, you can stick and move against him like Dirrell did but Ward also shown that with him being so damn slow and has NO HEAD MOVEMENT, you don't have to run from Froch Power, you can stand in the Pocket and Counter him and Pick Him Apart like Ward did...if Bute can stop Froch then that will be even MORE HYPE for Bute

I have nothing against either fighter may the Best Man Win...but I have to call it like I see it, the best thing about Froch is his "CHIN" as for Bute the best thing about him is his HYPE/FAN SUPPORT!

Everyone sees Froch coming on late. Imo it will be the opposite. Bute is consistant with his body punching. I see him staying with that and rocking a tired Froch late, stopping him in the 11th round.

Froch hasn't faced a boxer/puncher with speed like this since Taylor. Kessler is not the same type of fighter and he's orthadox.
