Lacy was a bum and was never that good.

calzaghe doesn't get that much love even though i'm not a fan he was pretty legit

Calzaghe had received minimum exposure in the US before that fight. Lacy was a Showtime hype job. He had a legit win against Robin Reid but that was pretty much it.

He fit the part- he was always in tremendous shape and he appeared to have really heavy hands, super marketable. But yeah- Joe Calzaghe is/was no joke. Very legit fighter, super fast, crazy attrition. Completely outclassed Jeff. He completely ruined him mentally.

Lacy got beaten Hard, I feel bad for him thought because he had great potential. JC showed up that night though, I wont ever forget the last round though.

easily calzaghe's best performance, Lacy was ruined after that fight.
