That is a truly monstrous series of challenges and he fought most of them away from home. At 35 he's still putting in the work and getting down to 168 in fantastic shape. The man is an absolute ****ing warrior and even if he gets KOed in the first tomorrow night I wouldn't lose the tiniest bit of respect for him.
yes he gets respect for fighting the best in his division. however, he was getting well beat against taylor, andre dirrell beat him imo, close fight with kessler, abraham is his best win in the super six but he was a middleweight fighting at 168. glen johnson had 15 losses so i dont give him much credit for that win. andre ward beat him convincingly and really exposed frochs handspeed, or lack thereof!

but i still give him credit for fighting the best he could, which is alot more than you can say for the guys at the top of the sport.

I will be rooting for the guy tomorrow because regardless of how he feels about his opponents styles (Dirrell, Ward) he fights...while you have P4P Fighters complaining that potential opponents are boring so that is why they won't fight them (DONAIRE!)

Win, Lose or Draw, Froch can say he fought the best in his ERA

Froch is a man's man. I actually used to be annoyed by Carl, but now I'm a fan. And, I'm telling everyone don't be surprised when you see how easy Froch is able to hit Bute. Bute has a defensive vulnerability that hasn't been seen very much due to the level of competition he's been facing. Yea, Froch is on the slower side, yea his defense isn't enthralling. But, he has very good timing, good reflexes and uses very awkward lateral movement that makes him hard to hit.

Expect Froch's jab and right hand to be the telling blow in this fight. Bute's been so used to fighting a certain level of opposition that I really don't know how he's going to handle finally stepping up. When you've already got 30 fights under your belt and not one top level, fresh fighter is on that list, and then you finally step up, it might be too late. Look at Arthur Abraham, going into the tournament, he looked unstoppable, and was one of the favorites to take it all. He entered the tournament at 30-0. And exited with a record of 32-3, with only one of his wins happening in the tourney. And in all 3 of those losses, he was dominated and utterly outclassed.

I'm not saying Bute will end up like Abraham, but what I am saying is you never know and we've seen what happens when a fighter goes undefeated and finally steps up. Abraham entered the tournament with everyone talking him up and giving him praise left and right, but left the tournament with many people saying he should retire. That's boxing. We'll see what happens tomorrow night.

Psychotic Resume. I seriously worry about his health fighting so many elite opponents.

Imagine how he would dominate if he only fought BUMS in Canada like Lucian does?

Wasn't a Froch fan at all. Didn't like his ****y attitude. Still don't think he won the fight against Dirrell but you have got to respect the man. He fights EVERYONE. He's not the best boxer, not the fastest and not the best defensively but he gets it done. He's a warrior. He made me a fan. And I put him higher up then Calzaghe. Froch fought elite fighters in HIS prime and in THEIR prime. The only fighter Calzaghe fought in his prime was Kessler.

And dominated! Froch is gangsta though, picked him to win but not in this impressive fashion.

can't think of any other fighter currently who has faced such tough opponents back to back like Froch. No tune ups, no stay busy fights, no "I'm gonna look good against a bum today to set up a big fight later" fights. Just straight up fighting the best fighters in every fight.

                      Nothing but respect.
