Isn't that like answering "JMM", when someone asks the question of what fighter has Pac beaten that is on Floyd's skill level?

    I could be wrong....

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but are you trying to argue that Whitaker isn't on Floyd's skill level?

Yes, you read it wrong. Think about it for a second.

only current fighter today that would actually do well in past ERA'S is actually Mayweather...because of his Boxing Skills and Defense

but no question his current ERA is very weak and it has A LOT OF OVERRATED FIGHTERS and that is because Today's boxing fan are not very hard to please, you score an impressive KO and fans are ready to put you on the P4P List

One only needs to look at floyd's resume & see that floyd has YET TO FACE A LEGIT PRIME HALL OF FAME FIGHTER.

Terry is right. Floyd would get destroyed if fought back in the day where protecting undefeated records at all costs was not the norm.

I mean 38 year old going on 39 shane mosley coming of almost 1 year & a half of inactivity almost knocked floyd out cold. Can you imagine what a prime shane, heck what a prime legit hall of fame bona fide welter weight will do to floyd?

& take a look at the oscar fight, that was a old past prime oscar & he had floyd's face swelling.

take a look at the cotto fight. look what a past prime pacquiao left over did to floyd's face.

For all the talk of floyd's defensive wizardry, he sure does take a lot of punishments from fighters nowhere near prime hall of fame position.

Floyd's greatness & defensive wizardry is grossly exaggerated. Coked out past prime pernell was freaking defensively on murderous prime welterweights like tito & oscar......

while floyd is getting bloodied & bashed & almost getting KTFO by shot past prime fighters.

I mean look at floyd's best win, diego corrales? How much is that worth in the greatness category if that's your best win? The guy is not even a legit hall of famee ffs....

                2. Many ppl still believe Oscar didn't deserve that win. Don't boxrec it.

the more i think about the more I agree with Norris, I mean in the 90s 147lbs was loaded with killers. If a passed his prime DLH fought PBF to a split dec.,,just imagine what a prime DLH would do to him, Whitaker is at another level he is ranked up there with Duran and Pep.
