Duddy would win this one by a vicious KO, no question about that...

Duddy has no ****ing jab. He's fighting stationary guys who have been payed peanuts to be the "gatekeepers" of the division.
In other words, there the guys who get payed to get knocked out to hype up a rising prospect.
He does need work with the jab and staying low, but the majority of the guys this man beats do not come to get knocked out. Duddy Ko'd Pat Coleman in the 8th and final rd with about a minute left. Lenord Pierre is a top prospect who had double the experience when he fought Duddy and got KO'd in the 1st rd.
You might have point with some of his flaws but this man gets better and improves with every fight. And go look up his stats at boxrec its all there, his opponets are alot tougher than the majority of building fighters.
**And to comment on what u said earlier on Gatti, you said like Gatti's carrer is bad, the man was a 2 time champ at 2 different weight classes and has a chance to be a 3 time champ, and not to mention one of the biggest draws in boxing over the last 10 yrsComment

i'll take a hard hitting brawler over a finesse boxer anytime. i'd say about 7-8 out of 10 times the puncher wins. the boxer gets taken out his game because the puncher is landing hard shots, so the boxer tries to play his game and usually gets KO'd or beat becuase of it...not saying Forrest is a finesse fighter, but look what happend to him against Mayorga. stuff like that seems to happen....
anywho, i'd take duddy over ward due to that belief i have about boxers vs punchers, and also the fact that ward was dropped and pretty wobbled in his last fight. had duddy dropped him, i'm sure he would've finished him. duddy has come off the canvas too, but i think he expects to take some to give some....Comment

I like both Duddy and Ward ,and there can be no doubt that Ward is the more skilled fighter but he doesn't seem to have much of a chin. If they fight right now, I predict Duddy to win by KO.Comment

hmm
It is 100% false to say that punchers usually beat boxers. In fact, the opposite is true, and has been proven throughout boxing history.

There are examples of puncher/brawlers beating the boxer, but it is not the norm.Comment
